CeSigma initiated the Monitoring of risks in the environmental field with the establishment of a System dedicated to Monitor rockfall.

With a proven and recognized Experience in the field of Underwater Acoustics and Real-Time Detection Systems, Cesigma has developed Turnkey products (permanent hydrophones, embedded systems, infrared camera …) as well as Tailor-made Programs dedicated to Biological and Marine mammals Monitorings and other applications, such as Real-Time surveys dedicated to Protected areas and Species.

For example, CeSigma is developing an activity specifically dedicated to the consideration of Sustainable Development through the Monitoring of Cetaceans in an industrial context, by setting up not only permanent or semi-permanent Acoustic Acquisition systems, but also by the deployment of mitigation procedures to reduce or avoid impacts on these populations.

In this context, CeSigma has developed numerous projects in collaboration with several Laboratories or Institutions (Port Cros National Park, University of the West Indies and Guiana, University of Paris 6, UMPC) and in partenerships with Nature Conservation NGo’s, such as GUALIBA (in Guadeloupe) or CetaMada (in Madagascar).
